·         The Shea Butter Lotion is ideal for braid wearers because it penetrates directly into the hair and beyond the extension to help add moisture.  It also helps to keep the hair from shedding and breaking, so that when you remove your braids you will not have that much breakage.

·         Scalp massages are essential for all hairstyles, but especially braids.  Simply apply a small amount of Anti-Itch scalp oil to the scalp and massage in gently.

·         Try Nature’s Shine, it contains no water and will leave your hair with long lasting shine.

·         Squeeze Herbal Cleanse throughout hair and scalp and vigorously massage in.  Wipe out with a moist towel to remove residue.  No water is needed!

·         Apply a small amount of Shea Butter into hands and massage on the scalp and on the braid where your natural hair is intertwined.   Your hair sheds an average of 50-100 strands per day.  During the period of time that your hair has been in braids it has had nowhere to go.  You will experience normal shedding after you take the braids down but not as much as before.

·         SPECIAL NOTE: Right after you get your braids done, rinse your scalp with warm water.  This will help to rejuvenate your scalp without removing your braids. Once you are finished, massage scalp with the Anti-Itch Scalp Oil to keep the scalp from feeling tight.

·         Lightly spray your hair with Nature’s Shine.

·         Try using the Uplifting Shampoo when you shampoo your braids.  It will exfoliate your scalp and condition your hair, while you wear your braids.

·         A special note for cornrows, to keep your cornrows looking there best use the Anti-Itch Scalp oil and the herbal cleanse.  Be sure to wrap you hair at night to keep it from frizzing.
