ASK THE EXPERTS
|
Dear
Dr. Hair:
I am letting my hair grow, but my hair stylist
keeps urging me to cut the split ends. Won't this just slow
down the growth process?
Dear Reader:
Split ends will continue to split moving up
the hair shaft until hair sheds and thins, so it is best to
trim ends every six to eight weeks. Apply Olive Oil to ends
of hair nightly before rolling or wrapping hair. Continued
use should improve hair's strength and minimize split ends.
