I lived in a small town in Central Cali. African American hair care products were scarce to say the least. I couldn't wait to get back to Chicago so I could walk into ANY beauty supply store and have my pick of a million different products. A week before I was hired at Namaste, I picked up a box of ORS relaxer. Prior to this I had been a long time user of the brand sold at Sally's Beauty Supply. I can't even remember the name. But I figured if I was gonna work for the company, I need to at least be aware of how good, or bad, the products are.

Talk about being blown away. The relaxer straightened my hair better than any other home relaxer kit I had ever used. Not only did it straighten my hair, it left my hair and scalp moisturized. My scalp was usually dry as the Sahara desert, but this time was different.The kit includes so many products to take care of every step of the relaxer process: straightening, neutralizing the relaxer, conditioning, and styling. Now of course once I told my girlfriend about it, she starts to tell me how she loves the products and has been using them for a while. What kind of friend wouldn't pass this info along?? I was glad to know that I wasn't the only one I knew that is happy with the products. I even use the moisturizing lotion and aloe vera shampoo on my one year old's hair. His hair was really dry before I started using those products. Now I can comb his hair very easily, even if I skip a day of moisturizing. Anyone who has a child whose hair needs to be combed, can appreciate it when the product you use makes your job easier.
